A thrilling expansion to the Star Trek franchise

Star Trek: Infinite is a premium, exhilarating strategy game that adds to the highly acclaimed sci-fi franchise Star Trek. You can encounter exciting combat, shocking secrets, and powerful characters. The game is set several decades before Star Trek: The Next Generation, making it more exciting than ever to experience.

Star Trek: Infinite was developed by Paradox Interactive alongside other successful franchises such as Stellaris and Crusader Kings. Its gameplay provides a deep dive into the iconic Star Trek universe, and you must run and command one of the four primary powers in the galaxy.

Command a fleet and protect your empire

Star Trek: Infinite game has four major powers—the United Federation of Planets, the Klingon Empire, the Cardassian Union, and the Romulan Star Empire. As such, your primary objective is to lead your fleet and protect your empire by governing one out of four major powers in the galaxy. In each power, you can experience unique stories, traits, and quests—remember their distinction as you navigate through the game.

Every faction boasts its unique roster of iconic characters. When you choose to align with the United Federation of Planets, your fleet can be under the capable command of renowned figures such as Jean-Luc Picard, along with other distinguished officers like Benjamin Sisko and Katherine Janeway. Additionally, you will find other memorable playable characters, such as Spock from the Romulans, Makbar from the Cardassians, and Elim Garak.

You can take control of these characters to progress through the distinctive faction Mission Trees or uncover specific narrative events as you venture through the Alpha and Beta quadrants. In this game, each faction offers a different gameplay experience and objectives within their mission trees, which will encourage you to explore various playstyles. While you have the freedom to shape your overall gameplay, when it comes to Mission Trees and narrative events, it's crucial to follow the designated style and objectives associated with each faction.

Commanding the fleet amid Borg challenges

Commanding your fleet is not easy because you will constantly deal with difficult choices, hostile enemies, and challenging quests. Moreover, one of the game's highlights is battling it out with one of Star Trek’s most famous antagonists—the Borg. Known for its self-regenerating abilities, metal-infused bodies, and collective minds, this alien group is one of the most resilient enemies you will encounter.

On top of taking care of your chosen faction, you can also travel to the other major powers to gather skills and possibly invade other factions. In addition, this game also boasts exemplary visual graphics, making the overall gaming experience more enjoyable. However, this game might feature content unsuitable for all age groups due to its generally mature themes and content. It is also important to note that the system requirements are consequently steep due to the game’s high-quality animation.

Set before Star Trek: The Next Generation, it offers thrilling combat, compelling narratives, and iconic characters.
